First of Seven Buildings tops out at Astoria's Halletts Point Megaproject

That first building, designed by Dattner Architects, will have 405 apartments when it opens in the summer of 2018. At least 81 of those units will be affordable to families earning between 40 and 50 percent of the AMI, but overall pricing for the rentals has not yet been released.

Gap Renews Midtown East Lease as Company Announces Plans to Shed 200 Stores

Apparel chain Gap has inked a deal to retain its 15,942-square-foot store at 655 Third Avenue, according to landlord Durst Organization. Meanwhile the parent company, Gap Inc., announced plans today to shutter 200 Gap and Banana Republic locations.

Gap Re-Ups Lease on Third Avenue

The Gap has renewed its lease at the Durst Organization’s 30-story building at 655 Third Avenue. The clothing retailer is keeping 15,942 square feet at the building located at the corner of East 42nd Street, the New York Post reported. Its space includes 8,421 square feet on the ground level and 7,363 on the lower level.
