1133 Avenue of the Americas

With its limestone façade and sleek modernist lines, 1133 Avenue of the Americas, located between 43rd and 44th Streets, led the transformation of Avenue of the Americas into a global business hub. A $40 million capital improvement program includes a new landscaped plaza, renovations to the dramatic travertine lobby as well as the installation of destination dispatch elevator controls and new elevator cab interiors.

The crowning feature of the new lobby design is a striking LED sculpture that cascades down from the ceiling by renowned artist Leo Villareal.

1133 Avenue of the Americas offers a jewel box retail opportunity in Midtown. This prime Bryant Park location features up to 10,500 square feet of retail space, available in Q3 2018, which includes 5,227 square feet on the ground floor and 5,154 square feet on the concourse level.

The retail space has a beautiful new glass facade with floor-to-ceiling windows on four sides, allowing for abundant natural light throughout.

1133 Avenue of the Americas is home to the world headquarters, showroom and performance space of Steinway & Sons.

1133 Avenue of the Americas is LEED Silver certified under LEED v4 Existing Buildings: Operations + Maintenance (O+M). The building is also ENERGY STAR® certified.

Green buildings perform better than conventional ones. They save energy, use less water, generate less construction waste, and provide healthier and more comfortable indoor environments. Studies show that working in a green building increases productivity and reduces absenteeism. Green buildings provide tenants the opportunity to promote their healthy workspace to enhance their business brand and attract quality personnel.
