:3Coffee Roasters Coming to The Durst Organization’s 30 Halletts Point

Family-owned Astoria coffee shop to open new location at the picturesque Astoria waterfront

NEW YORK, NY (August 3, 2026) – The Durst Organization today announced that :3Coffee Roasters has signed a lease for a new retail location at 30 Halletts Point in Astoria, Queens. The new shop marks an expansion for the family-owned business and their second Astoria location. 20 & 30 Halletts is a new residential rental development on the waterfront in Astoria. The buildings opened last year with 647 modern, light-filled homes, amenities, and a new publicly accessible waterfront esplanade.

:3Coffee Roasters was founded by Astoria residents Fabian Guzman and Andrea Gomez. The brand first opened on Steinway Street in Astoria and later expanded to the Flatiron District in Manhattan, building a following for their neighborhood-oriented approach and high-quality offerings.

“Expanding to Halletts Point is a natural and meaningful opportunity for us to grow in Astoria, the neighborhood we call home,” said Andrea Gomez. “We were drawn to Halletts Point’s waterfront setting and the ongoing development in the area. What we’ve always loved about Astoria is the area’s strong sense of community, cultural diversity, and how welcoming it is for families, and we’re excited to create a space that reflects that.”

:3Coffee Roasters is an independent coffee shop known for sourcing coffee beans from Colombia, along with serving homemade Colombian pastries. The new 1,232-square-foot shop is expected to open this year and will offer coffee, juices, breakfast, and additional menu items.

The Durst Organization continues to curate a mix of neighborhood-serving retail options at Halletts Point, contributing to Astoria’s growing waterfront community. Halletts Point is a mixed-use waterfront development with more than 1,000 residential units and ground-floor retail. The first building, 10 Halletts Point, opened in 2019, bringing 405 apartments and the area’s first full-service supermarket, Brooklyn Harvest Market.

20 and 30 Halletts Point opened in 2025, adding 647 residences. The development features a 58,000-square-foot publicly accessible waterfront esplanade with a playground and picnic area, and over 62,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities for residents. :3 Coffee Roasters is the first retail lease at 20 & 30 Halletts Point, which has a total of four ground-floor retail spaces.
