As Chief Financial Officer of The Durst Organization, Ira Marx oversees all financial and accounting functions of the Organization.

Ira pursued a public accounting career before his entry into private industry, attaining a license to practice as a certified public accountant in the State of New Jersey in 1977. Ira held financial executive positions with a cable television company and a shopping center developer before joining The Durst Organization in 1988.

Ira received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business in 1973. Ira is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
