As Vice President of Project Development at Durst, Anthony (Tony) Mastrolia leads the full lifecycle of the firm’s ground-up development projects from entitlement, planning, and design through construction and operational turnover. Tony directs the procurement and oversight of external consultants and contractors, fosters cross-departmental collaboration, and liaises closely with leadership to ensure alignment with strategic goals. He also evaluates and deploys new technologies that enhance project delivery, design innovation, and execution.
Before joining Durst, Tony served as an Executive Director within Global Real Estate at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he managed construction operations for the redevelopment of the bank’s global headquarters at 270 Park Avenue. Tony began his career in 2001 as a project engineer with J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, gaining firsthand experience in field operations. Over the past two decades, he has held leadership roles overseeing building renovations, infrastructure upgrades, ground-up developments, and large-scale redevelopments for prominent real estate and investment firms, including SL Green Realty and Jones Lang LaSalle. Tony holds a Master of Science in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), and a LEED Accredited Professional. Tony serves on the Board of Directors of the New York Building Congress and is an active member of the Autism Speaks and the Rewired for Autism Golf Committees.
