ERIC ENGELHARDT - Senior Vice President of Commercial Leasing

Eric Engelhardt oversees the leasing of One World Trade Center and 855 Avenue of the Americas. Since 2010, Eric and the One World Trade Center team have executed leases for nearly 2 million square feet of space including the 1.1 million square foot transaction with publishing giant Conde Nast. In the fall of 2014, Eric led the negotiations with High 5 Games and xAd, Inc., two technology tenants leasing 130,000 square feet at the building.

Prior to focusing on the iconic 3 million square foot tower downtown, Eric managed the acquisition and development activities of office, residential and retail properties for The Durst Organization.

In 2003, Eric joined The Durst Organization as a member of the in-house leasing team responsible for the leasing and marketing of a 10 million square foot commercial portfolio in midtown Manhattan. In his first several years with the company, he held a key role in nearly 1.2 million square feet of leasing transactions.

Before joining The Durst Organization, Eric was a Director at Insignia/ESG’s (now CBRE) Agency Group where he represented TIAA/CREF as leasing agent for the landmark Seagram Building and was a member of the team that secured Ernst & Young, LLP and Arthur Anderson as the anchor tenants for Boston Properties’ 1.1 million square foot 5 Times Square and 1.2 million square foot Times Square Tower, respectively.

Eric holds a Bachelors in Professional Studies of Architecture from State University of New York at Buffalo, has a New York State real estate salesperson license, and is a member of the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association.
